Constitutional Convention

The morning of the Constitutional Convention, the Religious Coalition for the Freedom to Marry sponsored an Interfaith service followed by a march across Boston Common to the State House. Throughout the day, supporters and opponents of same-sex marriage demonstrated in front of the State House. There were rallies inside and outside the building after the vote to protect marriage equality.

There was a small vigil on the steps of the State House the night before the Constitutional Convention. In the morning, the Religious Coalition for the Freedom to Marry led an Interfaith service followed by a march across Boston Common to the State House. Throughout the day, supporters and opponents of same-sex marriage demonstrated in front of the State House. There were rallies inside and outside the building after the vote to protect marriage equality.
